The Village of Senneville’s Public Works will be flushing the water system throughout the municipality during the month of October 2024 (Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.).
What does the process involve?
The process consists of evacuating from the network particles and debris that could form on the internal walls of the pipes. We evacuate the soiled water by fire hydrants. The operations are carried out according to a predetermined rinsing sequence which promotes better cleaning.
What to do in case of rusty water?
This operation may cause a slight drop in water pressure with or without a rusty (reddish) color.
If your water is rusty, you must open the cold water tap in your bathtub and let it run until it becomes colorless.
