Branch collection service will resume on April 22, 2025, and will take place every other Tuesday until early November, weather permitting.

Important: Collection dates may occasionally be delayed due to urgent work by the Public Works Department. We thank you for your understanding.
Guidelines to Follow for Pickup
To ensure safe and efficient collection, please follow these instructions:
Branches must:
- Be stacked at the roadside, no more than 1.2 meters (4 feet) high and 4 meters (13.2 feet) wide
- Be no longer than 2.4 meters (8 feet)
- Be left untied
- Be placed on your property, about 1 meter from the edge of the street, in a row with the cut ends facing the street
- Be no more than 7.5 cm (3 inches) in diameter
- Come from light pruning or storm-related debris
The following will not be collected:
Branches that are:
- Tangled or poorly arranged
- Thorny (e.g., hawthorn, rosebush), due to potential injury
- From tree pruning or removal done by a private contractor
- Non-compliant with the guidelines (in this case, a notice may be left explaining what to adjust for next time)
Also not accepted:
- Lawn raking debris
- Roots, stumps
- Non-organic materials (plastic, metal, etc.)
