The ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable informs road users that only one lane per direction will be available on the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge, starting tonight, for several weeks. To mitigate the impact of this additional hindrance, toll passage on Autoroute 30 and travel from certain stations on the Vaudreuil-Hudson train line will be free of charge during this period.
Traffic management
As of Saturday, 12:01 a.m., only one lane per direction will be available on the bridge due to damage to a portion of the slab.
A complete closure of the eastbound bridge for one hour will be required to implement this configuration on Friday, from 11 p.m. to midnight.
The public is invited to use public transport. Travel planning information is available on the Chrono application.
Motorists are invited to use Autoroute 20; truckers, Autoroute 30.

The reopening of a third lane and a return to dynamic traffic management on weekdays will be possible once repair work on the damaged slab has been completed. This will make it possible to keep two of the three lanes open in the direction of traffic flow during peak periods.
